TPMS stands for Tire Pressure Monitor System. The LiveTire system continuously monitors tire pressure and temperature on all wheels by means of pressure sensors mounted on the valve stem inside the tire. The sensors transmit the tire readings continuously to an electronic receiver/display mounted on the dashboard. When any tire pressure or temperature appears abnormal the system will instantly transmit the signal, alerting the driver.
